Willem Dafoe and Mark Ruffalo were spotted in Budapest!
According to a TikTok video, four-time Academy Award nominee Willem Dafoe and Avengers star Mark Ruffalo are currently in Budapest.
In the past several years, numerous actors, musicians, and other celebrities have been spotted on the streets of Budapest. Some of them visited the Hungarian capital for a vacation, while others travelled there to film their next movie. As we reported, Arnold Schwarzenegger came to Hungary this September to visit his friend, Ádám Szedlacskó, the owner of Flex Gym.
Last week, singer Luis Fonsi posted Instagram stories from Budapest with choreographer Danny Lugo and dancer Kiara Y. Rodríguez Saldívar. Last but not least, British rock legend Rod Stewart was also recently spotted in the Hungarian capital. Although he did not share any information or photo about his visit, his wife posted some telltale photos on Instagram, claiming that “the band is back together again in Hungary”. You can read about Rod Stewart’s secret visit HERE.
The most recent additions to the list of actors who have been spotted in Budapest are Willem Dafoe and Mark Ruffalo.
The two Marvel stars presumably came to the capital to film Poor Things, a Frankenstein-esque tale set in the Victorian era.
During the past decade, a number of top movies were filmed in Hungary, including Blade Runner 2049, Black Widow, and Dune. In June, it was revealed that one of the most brilliant directors of our time, Yorgos Lanthimos (Dogtooth [2009], The Lobster [2015], The Killing of a Sacred Deer [2017]), also chose Hungary as a filming location for his latest movie, writes Film.hu.

Poor Things is based on the novel of Scottish writer Alasdair Gray, and it tells the story of a young woman named Belle Baxter − played by Emma Stone − who is brought back to life by an eccentric scientist − played by Willem Dafoe. According to Deadline, three-time Oscar nominee Mark Ruffalo, Golden Globe winner Ramy Youssef, and Golden Globe-nominated actor Christopher Abbott have also joined the cast of Poor Things, which is set to premiere in 2022.
It is not yet known which character is played by Mark Ruffalo, but if the rumours are true,
it is likely that Emma Stone is also in Hungary,

Ruffalo is a raving left wing democrat lunatic. He should not pollute Hungary’s air.
